We’re excited to announce Australian Rollforming Manufacturers has moved to a new location in Dandenong South. Australian Rollforming spent 11 years located at their old site which was only 10 minutes away from the new location at 46A Brooks Drive, Dandenong South. While the old facilities served the team well, it was split across two locations with processing being done at Gaine Rd and the warehouse located at Abbott Rd – this meant that Australian Rollforming Manufacturers would have to process at one location, and then transport goods around the corner to the warehouse for storage. Thus the main motivating factor for the move was to combine the two facilities into one.
State-of-the-Art Facilities
The new purpose built warehouse is actually located next to sister companies – Surdex Steel and Surdex Sheet & Coil – positioning our Southern Steel Group teams even closer together and allowing our teams to move fast to deliver accurate, just-in-time solutions.
Building from scratch enabled us to strategically rethink the warehouse layout and to streamline machinery placement, processing lines and storage locations. This allowed Australian Rollforming to improve logistics and increase efficiencies by reducing extra materials handling. Australian Rollforming Manufacturers even purchased an additional, shiny-new DuraGal® processing line to keep up with the demand for the DuraGal® range of products.
More Space, More Stock
The new facility also offers more space than our previous site and holds more stock than ever to meet the increasing demands for Australian Rollforming’s range of steel products.
It has been an exciting start to the year for Australian Rollforming Manufacturers and we all couldn’t be more pleased with the new state-of-the-art facilities. We look at this new location as the start of another chapter in Southern Steel’s lengthy history.
The new address is 46A Brooks Rd Dandenong South VIC 3175.
